Let me introduce you to Nancy Hemenway Barton (b. 1920)! She was an American textile artist known for her large, abstract, tapestries. We'll look at her use of varied natural fibers, wildflower died fabrics, the ways she wove and strung them together, and the larger scale nature of her work. The studio will surely be *bursting at the seams* with creativity and exploration. • Drop-off starts at 8:45am • 9:00am to 1:00pm (extended care available in the "Add-ons" section of registration) • Best suited to kids 4-10 years old • Use the "Add-ons" section at registration to add additional artists • Nut-free snack included • Please send a water bottle and lunch
